Functional Fitness
By training the body to move more efficiently and strengthening the muscles around joints, functional movement reduces the likelihood of injuries. Functional movement also encourages proper posture and alignment, which can alleviate chronic pain and improve overall body mechanics.
It’s not only athletes that can benefit from functional movement. Everyone can reap rewards from training functionally, as these movements mimic the actions involved in everyday activities, sports, and work, enhancing overall physical performance and reducing the risk of injury.

Native State Studio Classes:
Breathwork & Meditation: A rejuvenating class to help you deepen self-connection through conscious breathing and meditation, enhancing clarity and stress relief.
Intensity: Low
Duration: 45 Minutes
Flow & Reset: A restorative class focused on decreasing the load on the nervous system. Expect active stretches, myofascial release and with meditation to recentre the body. The perfect way to end the weekend and set yourself up for an energised week ahead.

Duration: 60 Minutes
Align & Balance: Like mat Pilates, this class builds muscle groups that support your posture and alignment. In this session you will hold positions that will challenge your deeper intrinsic strength and through bodyweight exercises we’ll target core strength, joint stability, alignment and overall mobility.
Intensity: Low to Moderate
Duration: 45 Minutes
Rebuild & Refine: Lay proper foundations for functional strength and conditioning. Expect to focus on form and technique whilst incorporating your choice of free weights plus body weight exercises.
Intensity: Moderate to High
Duration: 45 Minutes
Forge & Endure: A combination of strength, conditioning and cardio; ideal for those seeking a high-intensity workout and wanting to test their physical boundaries.

Duration: 45 Minutes
Pyramid: This unique session rolls each of our classes into one comprehensive, mind-body workout. Utilising cardio and strength equipment you will build strength, endurance, and resilience. Expect mobility, strength, conditioning, cardio and breath-work.
Intensity: High
Duration: 60 & 90 Minutes
Native State offers more than 30+ classes a week, and can be attended casually or with a Studio Membership.
