What our customers say
The Process
Haven’t embraced the transformative power of hydrothermal therapy before? Here’s exactly how to find your Native State.
Book your session
Book your rejuvenating bathhouse experience. Choose from either a 45 or 90 minute session.
Arrive in good time
Pack your swimwear & wet-bag then arrive 5 minutes before your session.
Check in
Check in at the front desk, receive your towel, then be guided by a Native State team member through the bathhouse facilities.
Get yourself ready
Change into your swimwear, pop your phone on silent and place in your locker along with your personal belongings. This is to ensure total relaxation for you, and privacy for other guests.
Meditation lounge
We recommend heading to the Meditation Lounge to enjoy a moment to clear your mind before commencing your flow through the Bathhouse.
Shower
It is important to take a shower in the amenities provided before you begin to move between the hot & cold treatments – this helps maintain the purity of the bathhouse waters. We encourage you to warm the body first starting in the Steam Room or Sauna, before then alternating between cold & hot treatments.
Maintain purity
When exiting all heated rooms, it’s important that you refresh under the showers to maintain the purity of the bathhouse waters.
For optimal results we highly recommend you follow our introductory guide when visiting for the first time. Please also read the Terms of Use & Waiver.
Answers to some common questions
How do I book?
Casual Bathhouse Sessions and Studio Classes can be reserved by clicking the BOOK button or by downloading the Native State App. In order to reserve a casual Bathhouse Session or Studio Class, a Native State account is required. This is quick and easy to set up, however please contact us on 0459 564 923 if you would like some assistance. If you are a Member of Native State, please book via the Native State App or feel free to call us to reserve your spot.
Can I book for more than one person?
Yes, absolutely. Use the ‘Select Appointment type’ dropdown on the Booking Calendar to book for up to 4 guests. Choose your day, hit the search button, and then select from the available time slots. If you’re looking to book for more than 4, please email hello@nativestate.com.au or call 0459 564 923.
Can I enjoy the Native State Experience during Pregnancy?
Whilst many of our studio classes may be enjoyed by those that are expecting, we do not encourage expecting mothers to increase or decrease their core body temperature dramatically by using the heated and cooled bathhouse facilities. We recommend all expectant mothers to seek clearance from their GP before booking.
Where are we located and is there parking?
We are located at Shop 3 / 2 Creek Street, Kirra Coolangatta 4225 within the Kirra Surf Complex. There is parking available directly outside the Kirra Surf Shop, accessed via Creek Street. Once you have parked, take a short stroll around to the left (towards the beach) to find the Native State entry situated on Musgrave Street.
