- Download the Native State App in the AppStore
- Enter your email address
- Select the forgot password button
- Check your emails and follow the prompts to reset your password

How to Book a Studio Class
You will be able to book your first studio class once your first membership fee has been paid.
- Login to the Native State App
- Navigate to the “Book” icon at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll right along the top menu until you reach “Studio Classes” // Select the “Studio Classes” Tab at the top of the screen
- Select the class of your choice and hit the book button

Tips for Attending your First Studio Class
- We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to classes that you have not attended before. This will ensure the coach has time to connect with you ahead of the class and answer any questions you may have.
- We are a ‘no shoes studio’ and promote bare-foot training. However if you feel more comfortable in socks then please feel free to wear them.
- Walk past the mirrors and place your belongings in the cubby holes provided in the hallway
- Please bring a water bottle and small towel

How to Book a Guided Bathhouse Class
Our Guided Bathhouse Classes are a wonderful way to learn how to harness the power of contrast therapy. These sessions are at 7:00 AM Monday – Friday.
- Login to the Native State App
- Navigate to the “Book” icon at the bottom of the screen
- Select “Members Bathhouse”
- Select the class of your choice

Tips for Attending your First Bathhouse Session
- Book your session via the Native State App or on the Native State Website
- Arrive 5 minutes before your session time
- Check in at the reception
- Change into your swimwear, pop your phone on silent and place it in your locker along with your personal belongings. This is to ensure total relaxation for you, and privacy for other guests.
- It is important to take a shower in the amenities provided before you begin to move between the hot & cold treatments – this helps maintain the purity of the bathhouse waters.
- We encourage you to warm the body first starting in the Steam Room or Sauna, before then alternating between cold & hot treatments.
- When entering the Saunas, dry off and take your towel with you to sit on.
- When exiting all heated rooms, it’s important that you refresh under the showers to maintain the purity of the bathhouse waters.

Cancelling a Reserved Studio Class
If you need to cancel a reserved Studio Class, please allow as much notice as possible. We have a handful of Studio Classes selling out each week, and very late cancellations mean our waitlisted members miss out on a possible space. Thank you for your understanding.

- Navigate to “Profile”
- Navigate to “Schedule”
- Navigate to “Upcoming” and select the session you wish to cancel

How to Redeem a Guest Pass
Included in your membership are 2 guest passes to the bathhouse and 1 guest pass to the Studio class per calendar month. These are for you to bring a loved one to the bathhouse & Studio Gym. Please note guests can only enjoy the bathhouse within our casual bathhouse hours (8:00 AM – 7:30 PM daily).
To book someone into the bathhouse or a studio class, please email hello@nativestate.com.au with the following information:
- Their full name & phone number or email
- The date and time of the bathhouse session or class you wish to book them into
- Await confirmation from our friendly team
Alternatively, to book your guest into the bathhouse, simply navigate to the “casual bathhouse” tab in the Native State App and select a “1 person 90min Bathhouse Session”.

Pausing Your Membership
For added flexibility, we offer the following pause periods should you wish to freeze your membership for travel or personal reasons.
Month to Month Memberships: 2 Weeks
6 Month Memberships: 6 Weeks
12 Month Memberships: 12 weeks
Should you choose to pause, your membership completion date will simply extend by the amount of weeks paused. To pause your membership, please follow the below steps:
- Email members@nativestate.com.au with at least 72 hours notice of the pause date and when you wish to return.

The Wellness Discovery Session
To help you get commence your membership momentum and intention , your membership includes a complimentary 60-minute Wellness Discovery Session with one of our Native State Wellness Coaches.
This 1-on-1 session is the perfect introduction to our classes, the bathhouse, and everything we have to offer. But more importantly, it allows us to focus on you—your goals, your needs, and how we can best support you in achieving them.
During this session, your coach will help you map out a personalised approach to make sure your time with us is not only productive but truly fulfilling. It’s all about helping you get the most out of your membership!
If you haven’t scheduled your Wellness Discovery Session yet, it’s easy to do! Simply reply to this email with your availability, and we’ll take care of the rest. Our coaches are available Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Class Periodisation
In the Native State Studio-Gym we structure our training in 8-week blocks.
This periodisation evolves from form focused lower intensity training in Week 1, right through to high intensity power and speed in Week 8.
Training in this way ensures the proper foundations are laid and perfected prior to adding too much load or speed.
This decreases the likelihood of injuries and ensures you are moving optimally – something we are very passionate about at Native State.
